Heart and Soul

The announcer had to cut off the singing of the national anthum at the beginning of the game because the singing of the fans literally drowned him out. They stood on their feet for the final 10 minutes of the game, urging their team forward to try and get that tying goal. The Oilers just couldn't put one in.

The fans did not even pause in their chanting, supporting their team even as they left the ice, down 3 games to 1, heading to the opponents rink for what could very well be the final game of the NHL season. The fans cheered on.

The Oilers might not be able to pull out another miracle and win the next game to bring it home again but one things for sure... their fans will still be cheering.

Hockey isn't just a sport in Canada, it's a way of life.

Here's to you Oilers fans, the rest of Canada is behind you...
