McDonalds Vanishing Trick

When I was on my way to Frankfurt airport I noticed that there was no longer a McDonalds in the Darmstadt train station where there had been just one week earlier! I've heard of how the big franchises keep quiet on the ones that do in fact go under but this was the first time I'd witnessed it myself. I tried to take a pic of just how amazing the ripping out of any noticable trace of a McDonalds was but I got this instead:

I noticed they were also really fast in updating the website:
